Hello world, expriment to think out loud
I’m starting an experiment on Micro.blog to think out loud. I consume a huge amount of content to try and sharpen my work, and I’ve never had the “one perfect way to save and retain all the nuggets” approach.
I have tried four billion ideas to “think out loud” by writing, and they have failed so many times. I love love love the Bullet Journal Method, but not for speed and retetion and capturing links and screenshots
I really liked Alex Komoroske on Lenny’s Podcast and started a Word doc, but I don’t find myself going into it. I think it’s because my default action is more to share things with friends (who are also working on this stuff) rather than type into a Word doc
So Micro.blog can be my own space to write, and cross post to BlueSky, Threads, and LinkedIn. Crucially, it’ll save to my github, so I can keep all this content, since every nice service dies :(
Let’s see! Y’all can laugh when I abandon this in <12 posts
Thanks to Gauri, for a billion things, but specifically for having me do this
